Every month, a dedicated group of RevIvel volunteers conduct a riverfly survey of the upper River Ivel. The lastest October 2025 survey results are very encouraging.
The abundance of caddisfly larvae is a good sign of water quality. And what appeared to be a Bullhead fish was spotted!
Everyone involved in the surveying work has undergone specific training. All wildlife surveyed are unharmed and carefully released back to the River Ivel. Survey results are shared with the Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust.
